At Patio Kits Direct, Inc., we provide Homeowners, Contractors, handymen etc. with a Do-It-Yourself Alumawood Patio Cover Kit, which can save customers $1,000’s on paying for installation. All kits are custom designed and manufactured BRAND NEW for each order, and come with everything needed – down to the hardware! Our customer service is unrivaled in the industry, and we provide LIVE phone support and even Face-Time with customers during their build. Our comprehensive building instructions and support videos, give you the tools you need to get through every step of the build!

Our new 3d Visual Designer and Augmented Reality tools are the only software in the market that allows you to design a range of custom options and view it in your very own backyard!

Structurally Engineered

All Kits are manufactured for 110 mph winds/ 10 lb Snow Load (Exposure B), unless otherwise requested.

Please check with your building department regarding what requirements you will need. We can Custom engineer kits to withstand up to 160 mph winds and 60 lb Snow Load, if needed!

Engineering Packets

We are happy to assist in filling out the engineering packets required by your city should you be applying for a permit.
Engineering packets are included FREE upon request from purchasing customers.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

The manufacturer, Amerimax Building Products, provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the paint system for Alumawood

Warranty Information

Lead- Time on Kits

Alumawood Patio Cover Kits take 1 week to manufacture.
If you are having your Kit shipped to your residence lead times are 2 – 3 Weeks for manufacturing, packaging and shipping.

Alumawood Rafter Tails and Beam End Caps

Our Kits come with customizable options, such as choosing the right look for your rafter and beam end caps.
End Cap selections do not change the price.
There are four options for end caps styles, and you can even have the beam and rafters a different style!

Color Options

Our Kits come in a variety of colors. You can mix and match to make color combinations (i.e. Desert Sand Roofing, with Spanish Brown Trim (Posts beams and border). Color selections do not change the price ofyour Kit.
